Ms. Russo is a new social studies teacher at Overbrook. She attended Rutgers University in Camden for both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. Outside of school she loves finding new foods and restaurants to try, as well as visiting historical sites with her boyfriend. Overbrook is a place that has been extremely supportive to Ms. Russo. There are a lot of people that care about you as a human and not just a teacher or student. Ms. Russo is very thankful that she has made the decision to come back to the Brook! Ms. Russo’s advice for students is to get involved and stay focused! Getting involved and taking part in school clubs, sports, and activities makes the experience much more enjoyable! Use those opportunities to make memories, but focus and work hard in class, perseverance is a key trait of success!
