As of now the Titanic is disintegrating and the reason behind it is various ocean threats that includes salt, corrosion, sea currents and bacteria. Time Magazine said, “Her best estimation is that there remain approximately 30 years until the wreck has disintegrated entirely.” In 1912 the Titanic, at 2:20 am, was reported hitting an iceberg.  It took 2 hours and 40 minutes for the whole titanic to submerge underwater killing 1,517. As of today it’s been 111 years since the Titanic sank. Out of 2,240 passengers and crew, only 706 people survived the Titanic.   The Titanic cost 210 million dollars and weighed 52,310 tons.  The reason they can´t lift up the Titanic is it is too fragile to be raised from the ocean floor.
