Art lovers and supporters of young talent are in for a treat as Overbrook High School’s Pine Hill Art Club prepares for its annual Silent Auction. This year’s event, to be held on December 12, 2024, in the school’s media center, promises a captivating evening filled with unique handmade art pieces, student showcases, and community support.
The silent auction will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will feature an impressive range of artworks created by Overbrook students, faculty, and even professional artists from the community. Attendees will have the opportunity to browse and bid on a wide variety of art pieces, from paintings and sculptures to handmade crafts and other creative expressions. The proceeds will support Pinehill Art Club’s initiatives, helping fund art supplies, field trips, and workshops for students throughout the year.
The event is open to the public, making it an ideal way for community members to show their support for local art education and collect one-of-a-kind artwork. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome. Refreshments will be available, adding to the festive atmosphere as bidders peruse the gallery-like setup.
